
"Palagsing" is a native food of butuan made from a strach called "Unaw" where it is get from a certain tree called "Lumbia" . In making this food, the trunk of lumbia is divided into two equal parts. The trunk that is divided was pulverized and preserved in one day. After the preservation process, the Unaw where it is the product of the preservation process was mixed with coconut milk and powder and brown sugar. After mixing, it was put in a banana leaves and rolled it. It was cooked up to thirty minutes. In present time, we can find most palagsing makers in Brgy.
